|Bio:||This is my 10th year as the librarian at Monticello Academy. I have really enjoyed building and maintaining our library. I enjoy teaching all the students lessons about libraries, research and reading! I love sharing books with students, since reading is one of my favorite things in the whole world! My personal rule about reading is that you only have to read on the days that you eat.
I attended Brigham Young University for one year and then transferred to the University of Utah where I earned a B.A. in English. I have a Master of Library Science from Emporia State University.
I have lived in West Valley City for the past 30 years with my husband and our children. We have 6 wonderful children and 7 grandchildren. Besides reading, I love watching the Utah Jazz, traveling, being with my family and working on my home.
I attended BYU, and graduated from the U of U with a degree in English. I have a Master of Library Science degree from Emporia State University and completed my teaching license through Salt Lake Community College. I am a voting board member on the UELMA Board (Utah Educational Library Media Association.)

She and her family love the Utah lifestyle and enjoy outdoors activities such as camping in the mountains and exploring the desert and rock country of Utah. She also enjoys gardening, star-gazing, reading, music (piano) and spending time with her family.
She volunteered in the schools her children were attending and found working with students very rewarding. Because of her ability to teach mathematics, she was offered opportunities to work as a substitute teacher and intervention specialist and has worked in the education field for over 12 years. This led her to seek a teaching degree and license. She is a graduate of Western Governors University with a Professional Educator License in Secondary Mathematics (6-12) - Mathematics Endorsement 4.
She enjoys working at Monticello Academy because of the great students and faculty and supports the vision of Monticello Academy in providing a superior education for its students.
|Bio:||Let me introduce myself. This is my third year at Monticello Academy. I graduated from Southern Utah University in Cedar City where I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and certification also in Early Childhood. I grew up in Lake Powell. My parents still live there so I spend many weekends enjoying the water and fishing tournaments with my father. I enjoy reading, being outdoors, swimming, spending time with my friends and family, cooking, and watching movies. I have a cat at home named Harley and I love spending my spare time bonding with him. I am recently engaged and look forward to our summer wedding. Next year I will have a new last name. I look forward to this 2015-2016 school year!|
|Bio:||I have taught at Monticello Academy since the 2007-2008 school year and love the students and staff here. My goal is to convince each student that I care about him or her individually; my desire is to help every student become capable, successful, and well-educated. I earned a bachelors degree from the University of Utah and added a Masters of Education and Level I Reading Endorsement in Spring, 2009. I enjoy traveling and have been to all fifty states and many foreign countries. My greatest joys come from my supportive husband and my five married daughters and their families -- including twelve grandchildren.|
