|Bio:||I was born and grew up and went college in China.I got bachlor degree in Chinese laguage and literature from Hebei Normal University and master degree in theory of literature and art from Shandong Normal University. I had been teaching in college for 10 years before I moved to America in 2009.
I teach Chinese to 4th-9th graders and short time for K-3 graders. This my 3rd year in Monticello Academy. I enjoy seeing my students every time and teaching them Chinese language and culture.
|Bio:||I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. I went to Irvine Valley College and earned my Associates Degree. From there I attended Western Illinois University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a Minor in Health Education. At Western Illinois University I earned a soccer scholarship and played on their menâ€™s NCAA Division 1 Team.
I have been teaching Physical Education in Utah for the past three years. I have bounced around trying to find a permanent teaching job. I was on a one-year contract at Northwest Middle School this past school year and at Highland High School the previous year. This year I have had the privilege to teach at Monticello Academy where they place a high priority on restoring physical education components to the school curriculum, and utilizing state-of-the-art technology to enhance instruction and learning. Before moving to Utah I taught five years at Rio Bravo Greeley School in Bakersfield, California, where I taught Junior High Social Studies.
|Bio:||John graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Elementary Education in 2005. As the son of a history teacher, he grew up learning everything about the state of Utah. In 2010 he was fortunate enough to be selected to attend Boeing Educator Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. The experience was a dream come true, and instilled in him the desire to see his students excel in math and science. He is excited to teach here at Monticello Academy!|
